Description
Condition: Very good overall condition for a bass of its age. Various surface scratches and small nicks, dings and dents throughout the instrument. Fingerboard and frets have light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is very straight and the truss rod functions fine. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured double-cutaway body in candy apple red finish. Top-load tailpiece/bridge with four individual saddles and skirted control knobs with Fender logo on top.
Neck: Slender maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 1.5” nut. Headstock features a carbon fiber layer and black open-gear tuners. 34” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Split single-coil pickup in the neck and a single-coil in the bridge. Active preamp includes controls for volume, frequency sweep, TBX tone control, 3-way toggle with settings for passive, low freq boost and mid freq boost and a 3-way pickup selector switch.

Playability/Sound: This is a highly versatile Jazz Bass thanks to the active preamp and controls. The frequency boost switch and TBX tone control are very useful for producing sounds not before heard in a standard Jazz Bass. The neck is extremely comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
