Description
What makes this guitar so special: A nice sounding dreadnought 12-string with a bright, shimmering tone. Martin offered these Japanese made Sigmas as excellent budget & intermediate grade guitars.
Cosmetic Condition: Pretty good shape for its age - various minor nicks, dents & dings along with surface scratches. The truss rod is pretty much maxed out & the neck is just slightly bowed, so the action tends to get a little higher as you work your way up the fretboard. However, the guitar is still quite playable, but mostly in the lower fret region.
Neck: Mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Dark stained rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Bound headstock with rosewood overlay. Closed back tuners are in good working condition. 1 7/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length.
Body: Square shoulder dreadnought body with solid spruce top & multiple binding. Dark stained rosewood bridge with white saddle & end pins. Black pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Rosewood back & sides with single-ply binding. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 14.4 oz. There are no electronics.
Case: Black chipboard case included.
