The redesigned V2 circuit was originally engineered by Jon Ashley of Bondi Effects and further developed by John Snyder of Electronic Audio Experiments. The result is a distortion pedal that excels across its entire gain range, particularly at lower gain settings where note definition, dynamic response, and amp-like character remain intact.
