What makes this guitar special: A super cool, great playing Chet Atkins model with a great look and an awesome vibe. This piece has been signed by legendary guitarist Duane Eddy, and is a great collector’s piece in addition to being a great player’s piece. The neck feel is superb, making chording and lead lines a breeze up and down the length of the gorgeous ebony fingerboard. This piece comes professionally setup by our in-house luthier, so you can be sure that it will arrive ready to play.
Cosmetic condition: Good condition for its age, with a few nicks, dings, chips, and scuffs, as well as some weather checking throughout the body and buckle rash. Frets show some signs of wear, but still have a ton of life left in them. The brass centerpiece on the bridge has separated a bit from the top, but the bridge itself is firmly intact.
Body: Chambered mahogany body with bound spruce top in natural finish with multi ring rosette. Ebony bridge and Chet Atkins/Gibson inlaid centerpiece, along with Duane Eddy signature on the top.
Weight: 8lb, 2.5oz
Neck: Medium profile mahogany neck with aged white side dots and pearl dot inlays. Ebony fingerboard is in great shape, and frets have a ton of life left in them, with only some minor wear. Ornate headstock with rosewood overlay and gold cursive Gibson logo, along with gold-sealed Gibson tuners, in perfect functioning condition. 1 11/16” and 24.9” scale length. Neck is straight and truss rod works great.
Electronics: Passive pickup system with split tone knob, and master volume.
Case: Hagstrom hard shell case included.
