What’s special about this guitar: This is a very rare 1993 Custom Shop Limited Edition set neck Strat in great overall shape! This particular model is unique thanks to its set neck design, Fender Lace Sensor pickups and a stunning flame maple top! The Ebony fingerboard is also a rare feature and makes this guitar very one-of-a-kind.
Condition: There are various surface scratches and a few tiny dings throughout the guitar. The heaviest wear is on the back. Fingerboard and frets have only light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with very comfortable action and the truss rod functions perfectly. The wires to the output jack are unoriginal and the bottom tone control currently functions as a master tone control. The selector switch is wired so that in the middle position, the neck and bridge pickups are activated; this means there is no way to select the middle pickup by itself.
Body: Solid contoured body with a gorgeous flame maple top in charcoal finish. The flame figuring is beautiful and highly appealing. Two-point modern style bridge with trem arm. Black skirted control knobs, 3—ply parchment pickguard, 3-ply parchment back cover plate and gold hardware throughout.
Neck: Slender set neck with an Ebony fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays and a 1 11/16” LSR metal roller nut. Gold locking tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original Fender Lace Sensor blue single-coil pickup in the neck, Gold in the middle and dual Red single-coils in the bridge. Master volume control, middle and neck tone control, TBX tone control, 3-way bridge pickup toggle switch and a 5-way pickup selector switch.
Neck: 12.08K Ohms.
