Description

What makes this guitar special? This underdog model of Stratocaster comes straight from the mid ‘90s and has a ton of character in just about every way. Its tone is built on three “Super Fat Super Strat” pickups that are paired with the traditional 1x2 volume/tone controls, as well as the regular 5-way selector, but includes the addition of a push button switch that adds two extra tonal possibilities when initiated in the bridge and middle/bridge positions, fattening up and filling out each with big, full tone. If that wasn’t enough, it comes equipped with gold hardware and a Honey Blonde finish, a visual testament to the inherent warmth this guitar possesses through and through. The neck is perfectly worn in which adds extra elements of both appearance and comfort, so it also has a bit of tenured vibe as well. This is a killer Strat that will serve well as a great first, next, or last axe.

Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It does possess various nicks, dings, dents, chips, and scratches throughout the neck and body, but still looks, plays, and sounds great. The neck edges do show some wear and the bridge is starting to show a little bit of corrosion. The frets show light to mild wear but still have a ton of life left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should. Does not include tremolo arm or back plate.

Body: Double cutaway contoured alder body in Honey Blonde finish. 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard. White plastic pickup covers, switch tip, and control knobs. Gold hardwear.

Neck: Medium round C shape maple neck and fingerboard with black dot inlays. Vintage-style gold tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut.

Electronics: Super Fat Super Strat pickups in the neck, middle, and bridge. 5-way pickup selector and “super” push button.

Weight: 7 lbs 7.4 oz

Playability/Sound: The pickups in this guitar sound great in every combination, including the additional two that can be initiated via the pushbutton in the bridge and middle/bridge positions. The neck is very easy and has nice wear so it moves that much better. The profile will be familiar to a variety of players.

Case: No case included.
