Description

What makes this guitar special: This is a well-kept P-Bass with a few upgrades including a Badass bridge and Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound Basslines pickups. Everything else is pretty straight forward, as it still maintains top-notch playability, an endlessly classic look, and traditional P-Bass response. Even with a different set of pickups, the Duncans still output loads of classic Precision sound, including the excellent low end thump they are known for, as well as some nice mid-range punch that can be refined with the simple twist of the tone knob. The Badass bridge tends to add a slight bit more sustain, but still retains all the adjustability of a traditional bridge. Plus, overall, this bass is still in great shape, making it as great aesthetically as it is in tone and feel.

Condition: This bass is in very good condition overall, if not better. It shows only light scratching throughout, as well as various small nicks, dings, dents, and scuffs, but is otherwise in fantastic shape for a 15-year-old instrument. The frets show only light wear and still have a considerable amount of life left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.

Body: Double cutaway contoured alder body in Sunburst finish. 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard. Unoriginal chrome Badass bridge with adjustable saddles. Knurled chrome control knobs.

Neck: Slim to medium C shape maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Chrome Fender open-gear tuning machines with clover keys. 1 5/8” nut width. 34” scale.

Electronics: Seymour Duncan SPB-3 Quarter Pound Basslines split-coil pickup. 1 x volume, 1 x tone.

Weight: 9 lbs 6.9 oz

Playability/Sound: The neck on this bass plays as easy as any and should be an easy transition for most players. The Duncans still carry the classic low end thump with some great mid-range punch to round it out.

Case: Includes original hardshell case.
