Description

What makes this guitar special:  We get a lot of Jeff Beck models through the shop, but the reason this particular one stood out for us is the way the finish has aged over the last 14 years.  The back of the body shows the true color of the Olympic White finish, but the top & sides have aged beautifully into more of a Desert Sand, with the cutaway pockets looking even more on the yellow side.  There's some "ghosting" in the top behind the bridge & near the input jack, probably from hang tags.  Our best guess is the guitar was on display in a showroom window & the direct sunlight took its toll on the finish.  However it happened, it's what we would consider a happy accident, because it just looks so cool!

Cosmetic Condition:  Very clean for the most part with some minor nicks & dings and of course the variegated finish.

Neck:  Medium-profile maple neck with dark rosewood fingerboard & cream dot inlays.  Frets are in great shape with no wear.  Locking tuners are in perfect working condition.  1 11/16" roller nut; 25 1/2" scale length.  Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body:  Contoured, solid alder body with curved neck heel.  Two-point tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles.  3-ply white pickguard & trem cover.  Guitar weighs 8 lbs 5.7 oz.

Electronics:  Fender Noiseless singe coils with cream covers.  Bridge - 9.71K ohms; Middle - 9.91K ohms; Neck - 10.34K ohms.  Master volume & dual tone controls with skirted knobs; 5-way selector switch.  All electronics are in perfect working condition.

Case:  Fender hardshell case included.
