What’s special about this guitar: This is simply an awesome playing MIM Strat in a rare and striking metallic sage finish. This guitar has a few features that set it apart from other MIM Fenders. First off, it has the metallic sage finish which is both rare and in great shape! The next thing is the neck profile. It is particularly slender and shaped in a way that makes it immediately comfortable. On top of that the pickups sound exceptional and the guitar is overall rather light-weight! This guitar offers great looks, a phenomenal feel and a classic tone; all at an affordable price.
Condition: Excellent shape! There are just a few minor surface scratches and maybe one or two tiny dings mainly throughout the pickguard. The finish itself is super clean! The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with only light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. The top of the wood plug for the truss rod access and the area of fingerboard behind the nut have a crack. This is not causing any structural issues however (see photos). All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured body in a rare metallic sage finish. Vintage-style bridge with six bent-steel saddles, skirted control knobs and a 3-ply mint green pickguard and single-ply back cover plate.
Neck: Super comfortable and slender maple neck with a skunk stripe down the back. Rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays and a 1 5/8” nut. Sealed Fender tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Single-coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge with a master volume control, dual tone controls and a 5-way selector switch.
Neck: 6.90K Ohms.
Middle: 6.87K Ohms.
Bridge: 6.91K Ohms.
