Description

What makes this guitar special: A fantastic looking Les Paul Standard, with a dazzling Premium Plus top that captures all the look and aesthetic of the iconic “bursts” from the late ‘50s. This beauty has exceptional resonance thanks to limited weight relief, and biting vintage tone courtesy of a pair of Alnico V humbuckers. The rounded neck profile is reminiscent of a classic ‘50s Gibson profile, without quite as much girth, resting nicely in hand for hours of comfortable playing. This piece was used as a wall hanger for much of its life and showcases very little playwear whatsoever-ready to be played in by its new owner. Professionally inspected and setup by our expert in-house luthier, it’ll arrive ready to play out of the case.

Cosmetic condition: Great shape! There are a handful of surface and handling scratches, and minor dings are present, most of which are visible only under particular lighting. The underside of the headstock shows some “hanger rash,” and there is some visible tarnishing on the hardware.

Body: Solid mahogany body with bound flame maple premium plus top in a stunning sunburst finish. Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece. Cream pickup bezels.

Weight: 10 lb, 14.5 oz

Neck: ‘50s style solid mahogany neck with double bound rosewood fingerboard, black side dots, and mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Vintage style tuners function perfectly. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.

Electronics: Gibson Alnico V humbuckers (Neck-7.63K ohms, Bridge-8.04K ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and gold tophat knobs, 2x tone, 2x volume.

Case: Original hard shell case included.
