Description

What makes this guitar special:  A perfect classical for the performing musician who needs a bit more amplification and tone shaping than the traditional acoustic styles will allow, this Multiac Grand Concert Duet boasts excellent all-around design, sound, and playability. Its natural acoustic qualities are a great mix of the classic acoustic and the modern design elements that make for great players. The electronic setup provides ample tone shaping between its under-saddle transducer, interior condenser, blend that works great between the two, and a 3-band EQ complete with a sweepable midrange. The whole guitar is in great shape overall, comes with its original gigbag, and we’re also throwing in a professional setup so it’s ready to hit the stage when you are.

Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. Outside of a few minor dings, scuffs, and a few light surface scratches, it is in fantastic shape for a guitar that’s over 10 years old. The frets show very little wear and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions perfectly. The bag does have a tear in it near the handle, but still works just fine.

Body: Single cutaway chambered mahogany body with a solid cedar top in Natural high-gloss finish. Rosewood bridge with uncompensated saddle and under-saddle transducer. Multi-ply top binding.

Neck: Wide, slim D shape mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with white side dots. Vintage-style 3-in-a-line open-gear tuning machines with pearloid buttons. 2” nut width. 25.59” scale. .85” deep and the 1st fret and 1.03” deep at the 12th fret.

Electronics: Custom LR Baggs Duet electronics with under-saddle transducer and internal condenser microphone. 1 x guitar volume, 1 x treble (10K), 1 x mid (640 Hz), 1 x bass (72 Hz), 1 x blend slider. 1 x on/off phase reverse button. 1 x sweepable notch filter dial.

Weight: 6 lbs 10.3 oz

Playability/Sound: The neck width and slim profile make this neck perfectly playable, especially with a satin finish that moves with much less friction. The electronics help to output the natural warmth of the guitar’s inherent acoustic qualities, and with a 3-band EQ and sweepable mid-range, allows for more than enough tone shaping on the fly.

Case: Includes original gigbag.
