What’s special about this guitar: This is a rare model Fender Signature Series Buddy Guy Signature Stratocaster. In addition to it being a rare model, it is also a rare color! The guitar features a rare red finish with white polka dots, vintage-style bridge, soft “V” shaped neck and Fender standard single-coil pickups. This is the first of this model we’ve seen in the shop and it’s likely to go quick!
Condition: Great shape overall! There are various minor surface scratches throughout the finish. Overall it is very clean! The fingerboard and frets have only very light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition. The chrome on the output jack has a few air bubbles along the edge but it fine.
Body: Solid contoured body in rare red finish with white polka dots. Vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge, skirted control knobs and a 3-ply aged white pickguard. The original trem arm is missing.
Neck: Soft “V” shaped maple neck with a skunk stripe down the back. Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays and a 1 5/8” nut. Vintage-style tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Fender Standard single-coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge with a master volume control, dual tone controls and a 5-way selector switch.
Neck: 6.83K Ohms.
Middle: 6.99K Ohms,
Bridge: 6.73K Ohms.
