Cosmetic Condition: Wonderful condition overall with only a few minor nicks & dings; various surface scratches & a couple of small lacquer chips in the fingerboard binding. The gold hardware is very strong on the guitar & has not tarnished at all. There are some light surface scratches on the pickup covers & pickguard. The guitar was well cared for & has been professionally set up by us with fresh strings & low action, so it play perfectly.
Neck: Very comfortable flame maple neck with multiple binding & black side dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in perfect shape with no wear. Multi-bound headstock with mother of pearl Gibson & floral pot inlays. Gold Gibson tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 23 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Rounded cutaway, thinline hollowbody with bound F-holes. Solid spruce top with 7-ply binding. Solid, flame maple back & sides with 3-ply binding. Three-loop, trapeze tailpiece with engraved Byrdland logo. Tune-O-Matic bridge on a floating ebony base with mother of pearl inlays. Tortoise pickguard with 5-ply binding. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 2.9 oz.
Pickups: Gibson '57 Classic Humbuckers with gold covers & black bezels. Bridge - 8.67K ohms; Neck - 7.92K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with Certificate of Authenticity. The case is in good condition, however, there is some rust on one of the bottom clasps.
