What makes this guitar special: A well-appointed ash body Telecaster with a phenomenal neck feel and a cool player’s vibe. This one hasn’t been babied, but hasn’t been outright abused either…and when you play it, you can see why it was someone’s go-to…a great weight, fabulous resonance, and a neck carve that is so comfortable you’d think it was done by hand. The Samarium Cobalt Noiseless pickups sound absolutely fantastic, with a smooth and buttery midrange sound in the neck position contrasted nicely against that classic Tele twang in the bridge. Professional setup is included with your purchase-so buy with confidence. All you’re gonna have to do is tune it.
Cosmetic condition: This one was someone’s go-to, and showcases all kinds of real deal wear…various nicks, dings, dents, chips, scuffs, and scratches throughout, with visible pickwear on the front of the guitar and visible buckle rash (buckle rash doesn’t penetrate the finish, however). Cosmetically, this one is about a 7/10…but what it lacks in condition, it more than makes up for in playability.
Body: Solid ash body in transparent crimson finish with 3-ply black pickguard and string-through plate bridge with individually adjustable saddles.
Weight: 8 lb, 1.7 oz
Neck: Super comfortable C-shaped maple neck with black side dots and black dot inlays. Maple fingerboard is in terrific shape and frets show only light wear, with a ton of life left in them. 1 11/16” nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Deluxe locking Fender tuners function perfectly. Neck is straight and truss rod works normally.
Electronics: Dual Samarium Cobalt Noiseless single-coil pickups (Neck-11.05K ohms, Bridge-12.06K ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch, S-1 switch, and knurled chrome knobs, 1x volume, 1x tone.
Case: Unoriginal black hard shell case included.
