What makes this guitar special: A super clean 335, in an iconic cherry finish. This one plays like absolute butter, with a silky smooth rosewood fingerboard and out-of-this-world slim tapered neck feel. It’s as resonant as they come, too…with a beautiful acoustic tone that is clearly reflected when amplified. It’s been professionally setup and inspected by our expert in-house luthier, so it’ll be ready to play right out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Great shape: some surface level scratches and pickwear, along with some light scratches, dents, and dings, most of which are only visible under direct light. The back of the neck shows a handful of small dents between the 2nd and 7th frets, but these don’t hinder playability.
Body: Double bound maple body in cherry finish with dual f-holes. 5-ply black pickguard, Tune-O-Matic bridge, and chrome stopbar tailpiece.
Weight: 8 lb, 5 oz
Neck: Slim tapered mahogany neck with black side dots and pearl dot inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Black headstock overlay with pearl Gibson logo and crown. Chrome-sealed Grover tuners function perfectly. Rosewood fingerboard shows no wear, and frets are in nearly new condition. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.
Electronics: Dual ’57 Classic humbuckers (Neck-7.91K ohms, Bridge-7.81K ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and black tophat knobs, 2x tone, 2x volume.
Case: Unoriginal deluxe hard shell case included.
