What makes this guitar special? This is a solid Les Paul with a nice look, great tone, and playability to match. As far as its aesthetic, between the Trans Cherry finish, cream binding, and rosewood board, this guitar has a pleasantly warm color palette with great natural figuring of its tone woods. The ’57 Classic in the neck has a ton of robust and warm tone, while the Super ’57 adds a bit of bite. The slim neck is extremely easy to move around from the nut to the cutaway, the controls are intuitive, and overall, this Paul is in great shape.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It does possess various nicks, chips, dings, dents, and scratches but largely remains very clean and still looks fantastic. There are a few small finish gouges just below the pickguard and the back plate is slightly warped. The frets show only light wear and have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod is functioning.
