Description
What makes this guitar special: All the appointments of a top-of-the-line American Fender, at a much more agreeable price. The Baja Telecaster was designed by Custom Shop Master Builders, and is chock full of premium features. Most notably, it sports a pair of Custom Shop Twisted Tele pickups with a push-push S1 switching system, and an American Vintage bridge with brass barrel saddles. This piece is in really great shape for a used guitar, and thanks to a complimentary setup from our in-house luthier, it will arrive ready to play.
Cosmetic condition: Excellent shape! There are a handful of light surface and handling scratches present, along with some visible pickwear on the pickguard and minor tarnishing on the tuners. The previous owner had the neck refretted with hypoallergenic fret wire, which was done professionally. Frets show no wear at all.
Body: Single cutaway solid alder body in sunburst finish. 3-ply white pickguard. String-through American Vintage bridge with triple brass barrel saddles.
Weight: 7 lb, 7.4 oz
Neck: Soft-V/C-shaped solid maple neck with white side dots and white dot inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Rosewood fingerboard is in excellent shape, and frets show no wear. Vintage style tuners work great. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.
Electronics: Fender Custom Shop Twisted Tele pickups (Bridge-6.44k ohms, Neck-7.25k ohms) with 4-way pickup selector switch and knurled chrome knobs, 1x tone, 1x volume w/ push-push S1 switch.
