Description
What makes this guitar special: This is a fantastic-sounding Martin at an even better price. Made to suit more affordable means, this 000 is relatively simple in appointments with its white binding, black and white 3-ring rosette and basic inlays, but what it lacks in flash it makes up for in sound. The rosewood back and sides provide its smaller body a nice low end response to match its crisp and articulate top end. The body’s smaller size also makes it easy to play, and with a familiar C shape neck, its playability is as solid as its tone.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It shows only light scratches, which are mostly in the back, and a few minor dings throughout, but is otherwise in fantastic shape. The frets show almost no wear whatsoever and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Double-bound 000 body with a Sitka spruce top and rosewood back and sides in Natural finish. Traditional teardrop tortoiseshell pickguard. Black and white 3-ring rosette. Richlite bridge and compensated saddle with white bridge pins with black dots.
Neck: Slim to medium depth C shape mahogany neck and richlite fingerboard with large dot inlays. Gold sealed tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.5” scale.
Weight: 4 lbs 8 oz
Playability/Sound: The neck on this guitar plays as easy as any, and its medium slim C shape should be easy to adapt to for most players. The body has a surprising low end response despite its smaller size as well as a highly articulate top end and perfect mid-range body to be present without taking on the boxy sound of dreadnoughts.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
