What makes this guitar special: If you’re seeking the most bang for your buck, look no further-the S2 Vela was designed for the gigging guitarist on a budget. Featuring a splittable humbucker in the bridge position and PRS Designed Type-D single coil in the neck, this thing can do just about everything. The Pattern Regular neck is a comfortable and familiar C-shape, and the offset body design adds a visual element that isn’t found on any other PRS model. As always, a professional setup is included, so rest assured, all you’ll have to do is tune it.
Cosmetic condition: Great shape, with some light signs of playwear throughout. Various light scratches, dents, dings, nicks, and scuffs, along with some nominal fretwear.
Body: Contoured, offset solid mahogany body in dark natural finish with 3-ply black pickguard and top-loading split saddle bridge with dual brass barrel saddles.
Weight: 6 lb, 10.8 oz
Neck: Pattern regular C-shaped mahogany neck with white side dots and white dot inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 25” scale length. Gold foil headstock logo and PRS locking tuners in fully functioning condition. Rosewood fingerboard is in terrific shape and frets show almost no wear with a ton of life left. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.
Electronics: Type-D single coil pickup in the neck position with S2 Starla humbucker in the bridge position. Chrome-cored speed knobs, 1x volume, 1x coil-splittable tone, and 3-way pickup selector switch.
