Shepherd Express' Best of Milwaukee 2017 Readers Poll: Cream City Music Chosen "Best Musical Instrument Store"

Shepherd Express is Milwaukee's alternative news source, print and digital, covering arts & entertainment, culture and dining. With over 300,000 readers Shepherd Express is regarded as Milwaukee's most popular and dependable cultural guide.

Back in the 1990s, The Shepherd Express did something no one in town had thought about creating a “best-of-city” contest voted on by their readers. Since then, Shepherd Express’ annual Best of Milwaukee competition has remained the largest, as ranked by numbers of voters.

Today, Shepherd Express Best Of Milwaukee serves as the definitive guide to the best the city has to offer.

Shepherd Express just completed counting the votes for Best Of Milwaukee 2017 across 300 hundred categories and, for the first time in the store's eighteen year history, Cream City Music took top honors for Best Musical Instrument Store, scoring more votes than the other fifteen plus area music stores - even including full service (drums, keys & Band & Orchestra) stores. We realize that this does not happen without an enormous amount of passionate support by our extended family of friends and customers and because of this, we'd love to recognize you all.
