The Boss OC-5 has everything you need in an octave pedal, with an enticing combination of classic sounds and new tracking technology. The OC-5's tracking tech has been newly developed to provide accurate response with no latency whatsoever, whether you're in Vintage or Poly mode. Vintage mode is a faithful reproduction of the original OC-2 from the early '80s, while Poly mode is suited to chord playing. You get four control knobs, with Octave Up, Octave Down, and -2 Octave Down controls. The -2OCT knob doubles as a Range knob when the pedal is in Poly mode, allowing you to set the note range where the effect is applied. Thanks to its lack of latency, straightforward set of controls, and tonal versatility, the OC-5 is a fantastic octave pedal.
