The all-new Boss SL-2 Slicer is the perfect tool for performers looking to envelop their sound in vibrant rhythmic patterns and infectious grooves. Based on the legendary SL-20 Slicer, this stompbox offers expanded capabilities while condensing the size to a more pedalboard-friendly format.

The SL-2 is a powerful unit that's excellent for live performances and studio recordings alike, courtesy of its modern DSP that allows it to deliver rich, animated sounds via single and dual paths chained with multiple internal effects. Featuring eight different pattern types, each with 11 variations, the SL-2 has plenty of sonic versatility under the hood, whether you need a rhythmic pattern with single Slicer effects, traditional tremolos, pitch-shifting effects, or more. And, when you're ready for more, just connect to BOSS Tone Studio to load alternate patterns and unlock a whole new realm of creative expression.

Beyond the pre-loaded patterns, the SL-2 offers an intuitive and efficient way to dial in sophisticated sounds and textures on the fly. Using the Attack knob, players can control the edge of their signal's waveform, from choppy and aggressive to soft and fluttering. Users can also adjust the Duty control to alternate between sharp, percussive transients to longer, sustaining audio blocks. Further sonic sculpting is available via the Tempo knob, Balance control, and Pedal switch, all of which can be used to fine-tune your signal.

Complete with mono and stereo outputs, footswitch functionality, and a TRS MIDI input, the Boss SL-2 Slicer is a versatile tool that's great for guitarists, DJs, beatmakers, and anyone looking to bring an exciting rhythmic element to their performances.
