Description
This is a brand new pedal from JHS dubbed “The Crayon”. It was designed to emulate the distortion achieved from plugging a guitar directly into a British mixing console as famously heard on The Beatles “Revolution 1”. The crayon is very similar to the Colour Box but simplified for the basic application of a dirt box. Though this pedal was designed to emulate the fuzz produced from a direct input of a mixing board, it also works beautifully as an overdrive or classic rock distortion. The Crayon also cleans up via the guitar’s volume control better than any other pedal they offer so it truly is a versatile box!
