At the heart of the Airstrip is a discrete germanium-and-transformer-equipped preamp paired with a vintage UREI-inspired discrete op-amp. The interactive Push and Trim controls let you shape the amount of gain feeding and generated by the preamp itself, covering an impressive range from clean enhancement and rich overdrive to heavily saturated distortion and fuzz. A Filter control fine tunes the high end to better match your guitar and amplifier, while the Volume control offers plenty of output, even functioning as a powerful clean boost when the gain controls are set low.
One of the Airstrip's biggest strengths is its wide operating voltage range. Running at anywhere from 9V to 24V lets you tailor the pedal's feel, with higher voltages providing increased headroom, clarity, and output.
