Cornerstone Centurio Dual Overdrive Pedal, Grey takes the legendary Klon-inspired formula and expands it into a flexible two-channel overdrive designed for players who need multiple gain stages without adding extra pedals to the board. Built around the transparent, amp-enhancing feel that made the original circuit so popular, the Centurio adds a completely independent second channel, allowing you to switch between two distinct gain structures on the fly while maintaining the familiar response and dynamics players expect from this style of overdrive.
The Normal channel delivers the classic Klon-inspired experience, ranging from clean boost to articulate low-gain overdrive with excellent note definition and touch sensitivity. The Hot Mode channel adds a dedicated second gain stage with its own Gain and Volume controls, providing increased saturation, natural compression, and longer sustain while retaining the core character of the circuit. A dedicated Bright switch allows additional tonal shaping for the Hot Mode channel, letting you choose between a more open top end or a tighter, more focused response depending on your rig.
One of the Centurio's most unique features is its continuously variable Clip control, which adjusts the clipping characteristics across a range of classic Klon-style responses. Lower settings offer greater headroom and a more open, asymmetrical feel, while higher settings introduce additional compression and tighter, more symmetrical clipping. An external footswitch input provides remote channel switching for players who need added flexibility during live performance.
