The Disturbance features a switch and four primary controls that allow users to dial in a wide range of awesome, mayhem-inducing sounds. First, choose your desired effect-Filter, Flanger, or an 8-stage Phaser-using the mini toggle. Then, use the Tensity knob to adjust the intensity of the effect and amount of feedback in your signal, with the mildest setting being at noon. Crank it to the left or right, and the Disturbance will dish out two distinct flavors of unruly modulation.
Once you're ready to dive deeper, the Disturbance has three other controls that can plunge it into sonic bedlam. The Center Point, Width, and Speed knobs control the behavior of the modulation LFO. Using these three settings, players can create screeching flangers, warbling phasers, and bizarre modulation effects that sound like they stepped right out of an '80s arcade game. Or, they can keep things tame and subtle-but what's the fun in that?
That's not where the Disturbance's innovative design ends, though. This outstanding pedal has a custom modulation core that allows players to freeze the LFO, opening up a new world of tones to explore. Additionally, this stompbox has a CV OUT jack, allowing synth players to experience its otherworldly sound.
