Electro-Harmonix's STRING9 is a powerful synthesizer pedal that transforms your guitar or bass into one of nine different string ensembles. If you're the kind of player who loves experimental sounds and bright synth effects, the STRING9 is sure to scratch an itch.
The STRING9 features nine unique effects that give players tons of sounds to explore and experiment with. Using the rotary knob, players can select which of the nine programs they'd like to use. Players can then adjust the wet/dry mix using the Dry and Effect knobs. The STRING9 also sports a pair of Ctrl knobs that adjust specific parameters for each of the nine programs.

-SYMPHONIC: Large symphony orchestra sound. Features an octave-down effect on the lower range of the guitar for a fuller sound.
-JUNE-O: Emulates the Juno® analog string synthesizer.
-PCM: Sound of a small string section sampled by a vintage PCM keyboard. Produces a warm vintage sound.
-FLOPPY: Emulates the sound of an Orchestron® optical disc playback sampler.
-AARP: Emulates the classic ARP Solina® string synthesizer.
-CREWMAN: Emulates the Crumar Performer® analog string and brass synthesizer.
-ORCH FREEZE: Orchestral sound with EHX Freeze effect.
-SYNTH FREEZE: String synthesizer sound with EHX Freeze effect.
-VOX FREEZE: Mellotron® choir and strings sound from the EHX MEL9 with EHX Freeze effect.
