Driving the Jim James ES-335 is a pair of Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers that have a rich, old-school character that'll take you right back to the golden days of rock 'n 'roll. Select the neck pickup, and this beauty will sing out with a thick, warm growl perfect for rhythm playing. Crank the bridge pickup, and you'll conjure a monstrous snarl with plenty of punch and bite. It also features CTS pots and Orange Drop capacitors, giving it a premium internal signal path that keeps your tone pristine.
In addition to its outstanding amplified tone, the Jim James ES-335 is a joy to riff on, even when unplugged. Its 5-ply laminated maple semi-hollow body produces a bright, clear sound with excellent articulation, and its Jim James Custom SlimTaper "C" shaped mahogany neck plays with a fast, comfortable feel. Players will also love its silky-smooth 22-fret Indian laurel fingerboard, LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge, and stop bar tailpiece, all of which contribute to an impeccable playing experience.
