Description
The Blackhole is Eventide's all-new "Otherworldly Reverb" pedal. With a host of features and functionality to create truly ethereal, spacey sounds, the Blackhole truly is a reverb as big as the cosmos. You get five presets to work with, plus dozens more available via the Eventide Device Manager software. These five presets (Blackhole, Dark Matter, Nebula, Singularity, and Pulsar) are visualized through LEDs on the top of the pedal. You can have up to 127 presets via MIDI, so there's a ton of tonal ground you can cover with the Blackhole. Plus, it comes with a Freeze footswitch to allow you to play over the reverb tail, while Infinite mode continuously layers new sound on top of the suspended reverb. Another great aspect of the Blackhole is that it has modulation built into the reverb structure itself, smoothing over some of the more extreme settings on the pedal for a more reliable functionality. With its plethora of different reverb tones, versatile i/O, and user-friendly design, the Blackhole is everything you need in a reverb pedal.
