The Albert Hammond Jr. Stratocaster is inspired by the Strokes guitarist's 1985 '72 Strat reissue. You'll find '70s style appointments all over this guitar, as well as a great set of pickups and some uniquely configured electronics. The guitar's '70s style headstock, bullet truss rod nut, 3-bolt stamped "F" neck plate, and '70s era headstock logo. However, this signature Strat really shines due to its electronics, with three custom-designed ceramic single coil Strat pickups that have a hotter sound than your traditional Strat single-coil set. And while master volume and two tone controls are Strat staples, the switching in this strat makes position 4 active the neck and bridge pickups, while positions 1 and 3 are reversed. With its unique sound and unmistakably vintage '70s style, the Albert Hammond Jr. Stratocaster is a fantastic Fender that any player should welcome.
