Description
The Fender American Professional Stratocaster Maple in Olympic White marks a fresh chapter in Fender's modern professional lineup. You've seen the original American Professional, the American Professional II, and the American Professional Classic. This refreshed American Professional Series brings a number of meaningful under-the-hood updates, including tighter-tolerance electronics with treble bleed to retain clarity as the volume is rolled back. Its upgraded 2-point tremolo uses a cold-rolled steel block for added sustain and definition, while redesigned saddles keep adjustment screws from protruding into the picking hand. The Olympic White finish, mint pickguard, aged white plastics, and maple fingerboard give this version a traditional Fender look while the underlying design is aimed squarely at players who need a dependable Strat for regular live and studio work.
The Deep "C" maple neck features rolled fingerboard edges, a 9.5" radius, and Fender's "Super-Natural" satin urethane finish for a smooth feel that stays comfortable through long sets and sessions. A sculpted heel makes upper-fret access easier, while 22 narrow tall frets provide a responsive surface for both rhythm and lead playing. Three V-Mod III Strat single-coils deliver the articulate attack, bell-like chime, and warmth that make the Strat platform so versatile.
The two-point synchronized tremolo uses a cold-rolled steel block and ClassicGear Radial bent-steel saddles to provide smooth operation and easy setup adjustment. Fender staggered sealed tuners, a bone nut, and Micro-Tilt neck adjustment help keep the guitar practical and easy to maintain. We think the Olympic White version is an especially good fit for players who want modern performance without giving up a classic Fender aesthetic.
