Description
The Fender American Professional Stratocaster Rosewood in 3-Color Sunburst marks a fresh chapter in Fender's modern professional lineup. You've seen the original American Professional, the American Professional II, and the American Professional Classic. This refreshed American Professional Series brings a number of meaningful under-the-hood updates, including tighter-tolerance electronics with treble bleed to retain clarity as the volume is rolled back. Its upgraded 2-point tremolo uses a cold-rolled steel block for added sustain and definition, while redesigned saddles keep adjustment screws from protruding into the picking hand. With a rosewood fingerboard, V-Mod III pickups, and classic 3-Color Sunburst styling, this version is built for players who want a Strat that feels immediately familiar but is refined for regular gigging, recording, and long sessions.
The Deep "C" maple neck uses rolled fingerboard edges, a 9.5" radius, and Fender's "Super-Natural" satin urethane finish for a smooth, broken-in feel without going fully vintage. The sculpted neck heel improves upper-fret access, while 22 narrow tall frets provide a comfortable balance for chords, bends, and lead work. Three V-Mod III Strat single-coils deliver the clarity, chime, warmth, and dynamic response players expect from a Strat, with a straightforward five-way switch and dedicated bridge tone control for practical onstage use.
A two-point synchronized tremolo with a cold-rolled steel block and ClassicGear Radial bent-steel saddles provides smooth pitch control while keeping action and intonation adjustments simple. Fender staggered sealed tuners, a bone nut, and an asymmetrical four-bolt neck plate with Micro-Tilt adjustment round out a setup built for reliability and easy maintenance. We think this is a strong choice for players who want a traditional-looking Strat with modern refinement where it actually matters.
