This particular model is part of an extremely limited run of Tele Customs with a Belly Cut, making it perfect for players seeking a top-notch collector's piece.
Just like the original, this 1977 Telecaster Custom features a 3-way toggle located on the upper bout and dual volume and tone controls mounted to a stylish, elongated pickguard. Its alder body gives it that classic Fender tone, characterized by exceptional sustain, punchy upper mids, and snappy trebles. And thanks to its '77 "C" shaped hard rock maple neck, 7.25" radius maple fingerboard, and vintage tall frets, this axe plays like a dream.
This Telecaster features a Wide Range humbucker and a Pure Vintage '77 single-coil pickup that give it a stellar array of vintage-inspired tones. To create an authentic Wide-Range humbucker, Fender resurrected CuNiFe magnets, which had been out of production since 1981, and are essential to recreating that old-school Tele Custom sound.
Complete with "F" stamped tuners, a "Bullet" style truss rod nut, and a three-bolt neck plate with a Micro-Tilt™ mechanism, this axe is perfect for classic guitar enthusiasts.
