Description
Fender Custom Shop's 1952 Telecaster is a faithful recreation of a first-year vintage Fender Telecaster. This is a prime example of a "Blackguard" Tele, with all the accompaniments you've come to expect: a 1-ply black pickguard, ash body finished in Aged Nocaster Blonde, and a thick neck profile. If you're a fan of a chunky in-hand feel, then this guitar's "'52 U"-shaped profile will put you right at home. Pickups-wise, this Tele is outfitted with a pair of Hand-Wound '51 Loaded Nocaster single-coils, along with Fat '50s Tele wiring and 3-way switching. This combination of electronics gives it exceptional tonal versatility while also being one of the fattest-sounding Fenders you've heard. Plus, it's aged to perfection, with a Lush Closet Classic finish package that gives it the look of a well-loved vintage Fender.
