Description
Fender Custom Shop's 1956 Telecaster Journeyman Relic gives the look and feel of a time-honored vintage Tele straight out of the '50s. This guitar's Journeyman Relic has all the nicks, dings, dents, and scratches of a true vintage Tele, while period-correct hardware and pickups further its classic aesthetic and authenticity. You'll love this Tele's eye-catching Faded Aged Sherwood Green Metallic finish, too. Two Hand-Wound '55/'56 single-coil pickups deliver the twang the shaped the Telecaster's sound in its early days, while staggered pole pieces deliver an even tonal response. Some finishing touches on the guitar include a ‘55/’57 Tele bridge with steel saddles, 1-ply Eggshell White pickguard and one-piece tinted quartersawn maple neck with “10/56 V” profile that’s a great fit for almost any playing style.
Other features include a modern 9.5”-radius fingerboard with 21 6105 frets, 3-way pickup switch, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut and round string tree. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and Certificate of Authenticity.
