Description

Fender's Custom Shop 1963 Stratocaster pays homage to the Strats of yesteryear, and it's a stunning vintage-inspired electric guitar. Featuring a trio of hand-wound Fat '64 pickups, a gorgeous Aged Lake Placid Blue finish, and an outstanding Journeyman Relic treatment, this guitar is perfect for musicians seeking a premium Fender Stratocaster that oozes old-school mojo.

This beauty starts with a two-piece select alder body that delivers a bright, balanced tone with pronounced upper mids, excellent sustain, and a sharp attack. Its '63 "C" shaped quartersawn maple neck fits the hand like a glove, and its round lam AAA rosewood fingerboard and 21 narrow tall frets play exceptionally well. Plus, its Journeyman Relic finish and Closet Classic hardware make it look like a genuine vintage Fender that's been well-loved over the years.

Hand-wound Fat '64 pickups give this Stratocaster a dynamic '60s tone, with deep lows and spankin' highs. The reverse-wound middle pickup allows for noiseless operation in positions 2 and 4, and the modified #2 wiring gives this Strat a rich tonal palette.

Shipped with a hardshell case, a custom strap, and a certificate of authenticity, the Fender Custom Shop 1963 Stratocaster is ideal for guitarists who want a top-of-the-line Strat dripping with vintage charm.
