Description
This incredible 1965 Journeyman Stratocaster features a light relic job, exceptional playability, and a blend of new and old Strat design to deliver a wonderful in-hand feel and tone. Its lightweight two-piece alder body connects with a quartersawn maple 1965 "C" neck for smooth fretting-hand feel across the Sanko 6105-fretted maple fingerboard. Sonically, you're dealing with a Custom Shop Hand-Wound '65 Single-Coil Strat in both the neck and bridge, which churn out the vintage Strat tone you know and love, while the middle pickup, a Custom Shop Hand-Wound '65 RWRP Single-Coil Strat, is reverse-wound and reverse-polarity for extra tonal versatility. Plus, its vintage-style hardware, eggshell pickguard, and Faded 3 Tone Sunburst finish give it a classic look to go along with its vintage tone and feel.
