Description
Michael Landau is one of the most inflential sessions guitarists of all time, so Fender Custom Shop had to pull out all the stops for his Signature '63 Relic Stratocaster. It comes with all the chips, nicks, dings, and dents you'd expect from a 55 year old guitar, and the worn Fiesta Red over Three Color Sunburst finish gives it extra-cool vintage vibe. The alder body for this guitar was hand-selected, and along with the rest of the guitar, is based off of Landau's own 1963 Strat. The neck is especially comfortable on this guitar, featuring a “Custom Oval C” neck profile, 7.25” radius round-laminated rosewood fingerboard, and narrow jumbo frets. Plus, the set of three Custom Shop Fat ‘50s single-coils give you all the chime and jangly tone that made the Strat a household name, but with some extra bite when you need it most.
