The Fender Limited Edition Kim Gordon Jazzmaster in Olympic White takes the familiar offset platform in a heavier, more stripped-down direction inspired by Gordon's work with Sonic Youth and throughout her solo career. Its alder body, matching Olympic White headcap, black pickguard, and pearloid block inlays give it a distinctive look, while the combination of a Seymour Duncan JB bridge humbucker and traditional-style Jazzmaster neck pickup makes it especially well suited to noise rock, alternative, experimental music, and players who move between atmospheric cleans and aggressive gain.
The maple neck uses a Modern "C" profile with a satin urethane finish on the back for a comfortable contemporary feel. A slab rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, and white pearloid block inlays provides an easy-playing surface for chords, bends, and less conventional techniques alike.
