Description
Description: Fender Marcus Miller Signature Jazz Bass with Mods
Condition: Very good overall. Various light surface scratches throughout the finish with some pick scratches on the pickguard. The original preamp circuit has been replaced with a J Retro Preamp with a new piece of pickguard for that area. The control knobs are unoriginal and some extra screw holes were added for the pickguard. Low E string has an added Hipshot mechanism. Fingerboard and frets have light play wear and tons of life left in them. Neck is very straight and truss rod functions fine. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured ash body in Olympic White finish. Badass Bass II bridge, concentric chrome controls knobs and a 3-ply black pickguard split into three sections.
Neck: “C” shaped one-piece maple neck with bound maple fingerboard, pearloid block inlays and a 1.5” nut width. American Vintage Reverse Open-Gear tuners, 34” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Fender Vintage Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups in the neck and bridge with master volume and tone controls, active EQ controls and a two-way switch for the preamp.
Weight: 9lbs, 0.5oz.
Playability/Sound: This is an extremely versatile bass thanks to the active preamp and controls. The EQ provides some filtered tones giving the player a multitude of highly useful sounds. The neck is extremely comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
