The Fender Player II Mustang Bass PJ Rosewood in Rallye Orange is built for players who want punchy tone and compact comfort without sacrificing flexibility. With its short 30" scale length, it's easy on the hands and shoulders-ideal for smaller players, guitarists crossing over to bass, or anyone after that signature Mustang feel.
The PJ pickup setup offers the best of both worlds: a Player Series Alnico 5 split single-coil Precision pickup for round, fat lows, and a Jazz Bass bridge pickup for extra bite and clarity when you need it. A simple 3-way toggle switch gives you quick access to both voices or a blend of the two. It's straightforward, versatile, and ready to sit in any mix.
The satin-finished Modern "C" maple neck and slab rosewood board feel broken in right away. Paired with 19 medium jumbo frets and a 9.5" radius, this Mustang Bass PJ plays smooth up and down the neck. We've had great luck with these in the shop-they're consistent, fun to play, and built to last.
