Description
The Fender Player II Telecaster HH in Cactus Gray keeps the familiar Tele shape but trades twang for punch. It's geared toward players who need a little more muscle in their sound-rock, heavier blues, alt-country-anything where humbuckers shine. Great for working musicians or anyone ready to expand beyond single-coils.
You've got an alder body here for a snappy, focused tone, paired with a Modern "C" maple neck and a smooth rosewood fingerboard. It plays fast and feels comfortable all the way up the neck. The two Alnico 2 humbuckers give you a powerful, warm response with just enough top-end to cut through, and the layout is stripped back for simplicity. One volume, one tone, and a 3-way switch get the job done without getting in the way.
The 6-saddle hardtail bridge keeps your intonation solid and tuning reliable, especially under heavier playing styles. Fender's ClassicGear tuners are stable and responsive. We've had a lot of luck with these HH Teles in the shop-they're consistent, easy to work with, and surprisingly versatile for a dual-humbucker build.
