It's built around Alnico 3 magnets, 42 AWG wire, cream and black bobbins, with unbalanced and unpotted coils, just like the originals. The average DC resistance of 8.6K gives it the extra bite and presence, while keeping it smooth and articulate. Uncovered with Zebra attitude, and two-conductor wiring, it fits right into vintage-style setups. We've found it to be a solid upgrade for players who love PAF tone but want more punch without sacrificing clarity or nuance.
