Here is one of the very first Cream City Music exclusive Professional Series Gretsch guitars! This is a Factory Special Run, or “FSR” model designed by Gretsch specialist and Cream City Music co-owner Ben Derickson. Only 12 will be made and each will be numbered and shipped with a certificate of authenticity. This is the classic G6118T Anniversary in all Metallic Gold! This finish was used on the G6120 Keith Scott model. We just had one of those “wouldn’t it be cool if…” moments and dreamed up this beauty. We bring you the G6118T “All-Gold” Anniversary!!.
This specific G6118T has been modded in house by our professional guitar techs. We’ve added a set of TV Jones TV Classic pickups!. This takes the guitar to a whole new level!
The new G6118T "Anni" recreates the look sound and feel of an original but with modern dependability and durability. The voice of the guitar is clear and clean with excellent note definition and great playability. Filter'Tron pickups offer very low noise and sound fantastic clean but handle quite a bit of overdrive as well. The G6118T “Copper Mist” Anniversary features 1959 style Trestle bracing which adds rigidity to the top without impeding resonation. This extra support tightens up the sound a bit and makes it a great choice for rock & blues. This guitar is pure Gretsch quality with top notch fretwork and neck angle providing the perfect playability that the Gretsch Professional Collection is known for. In addition to the custom finish, we’ve also added a “Pinned” ebony based Adjusto-Matic bridge which will stay put even with the most aggressive playing and offer precise intonation. This is a brand new factory first guitar and comes with the deluxe Gretsch hard case, all documentation and the Gretsch Limited lifetime warranty.
