Description
With a beautifully figured mahogany body over an open-pore semi-gloss finish, the G9100 ukulele showcases traditional ukulele aesthetics and full-bodied tone. Being a soprano uke, it is smaller than concerts and tenors, so you get an instrument that's easy to travel with and also works well as a child's first fretted instrument. As is the case with Gretsch's ukuleles, the open-pore semi-gloss finish allows for clear projection and increased sustain since a thick finish isn't dampening your sound. Outfitted with 16 frets, Aquila Nylgut strings, and a bone nut and saddle, there's a lot of value packed into this uke. This version of the G9100 features a longer neck, making it more playable overall through increased fret access.
