This 1955 6120 Nashville comes straight from the Gretsch USA Custom Shop, and it's a stellar recreation of those original 6120s. Painstakingly crafted by master artisan Stephen Stern, this guitar looks, plays, and feels just like a genuine '50s 6120, from its DynaSonic pickups to its "G" body brand. As soon as you uncase this 1955 6120 Nashville, you'll never want to put it back. From its striking orange-stained curly maple top to its muted gold Bigsby tailpiece and F-holes with ivory binding, this guitar is a spectacle to behold. And just like the original, it features Western Motif fingerboard inlays and a Steerhead on the headstock, giving it that rustic appeal Gretsch was known for in their early years.

Its light flame maple neck has a smooth, comfortable feel, and the action is low and even across the entire rosewood fingerboard. The DynaSonic pickups on this model are dead-on recreations of the original DeArmond pickups, and they deliver a clean, chiming tone with big, tubby lows and shimmering highs. With some gain, they've got a snarl like no other, characterized by punchy, biting mids that never sound too harsh. They're phenomenal pickups, and they truly capture the vibe of the vintage DeArmonds.
