The Starfire I-12 features a semi-hollow mahogany body with an arched mahogany top, giving it a gorgeous sound with deep lows, punchy mids, and a crystal-clear high-end. Its modern thin "U" shaped mahogany neck provides a smooth, fast feel, while its Indian rosewood fingerboard plays with a buttery-smooth response. Powering this guitar is a pair of Guild HB-2 humbuckers which offer a wide array of vintage and modern 12-string electric tones. These pickups can sling out everything from thick, crunchy rhythm tones to hot, spankin' lead sounds, courtesy of the dual volume and tone controls, 3-way pickup selector, and push/pull coil split functionality.
