This Jackson was designed to offer an incredible playing experience in every facet of design. Featuring an ergonomically curved poplar body, this axe sits snug against your body without that uncomfortable digging sensation. It also sports a through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement for rock-solid sustain and stability. And, thanks to its 12"-16" compound radius bound laurel fingerboard, this guitar makes chording near the nut and bending in the upper register nearly effortless.
Jackson equipped the SLX DX with a pair of high-output humbuckers that churn out a brutal array of metal-inspired tones. These pickups are punchy and biting and sound exceptional when playing high-octane solos or crunchy, grinding riffs. If you need a little extra sonic flexibility, don't worry - with a three-way pickup blade switch and volume and tone controls, this guitar can dial in a wide variety of sounds.
