Maestro's Arcas is a versatile compressor pedal that offers both transparent, light compression, and heavy, "signal-squashing" effects, making it great for a wide variety of players.
Arcas is an all-analog effect that features a two-position Mode toggle switch, giving it tons of sonic versatility. The LO mode is less sensitive to pick attack, while the HI mode is more sensitive. With this toggle switch, players can dial in the base sound for their compression, whether they're looking for something subtle or more intense.
After selecting the desired mode, players can fine-tune their compression using the intuitive 3-knob interface. The Sustain knob sets the amount of gain applied during compression, the Attack control adjusts how fast the compression engages, and the Level knob sets the pedal's overall output. Using these controls, players can conjure tons of top-notch tones and effects, perfect for any genre from alt-rock to heavy metal.
