Description

Maestro is no stranger to the world of fuzz - they built the world's first fuzz pedal in 1962, the Fuzz-Tone FZ-1, and permanently changed the sound of rock 'n' roll as we know it. The all-new Fuzz-Tone FZ-M pays tribute to the legendary FZ-1, and it's a tried and true vintage tone machine.

The FZ-M's fully analog design gives it a rich, thick, organic fuzz sound, reminiscent of a tube amp being driven to speaker-shredding levels. Its 3-knob control layout allows users to adjust the Attack (amount of fuzz,) Tone (timbre of the effect from bright and raspy to warm and wooly,) and the out Level, with tons of headroom available. Players will love the FZ-M's toggle that allows users to travel back in time to the days of the FZ-1 with just a flip of the switch. Engage the Classic setting, and you'll channel the same cutting fuzz that Keith Richards used on the Rolling Stones' 1965 hit (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction. Flip the switch to Modern, and the FZ-M will thicken up, producing a more full-bodied, bass-heavy fuzz effect. No matter what fuzz sound you're after, the FZ-M is more than capable of delivering the goods.

Complete with a true bypass signal path to satisfy purists, Maestro's Fuzz-Tone FZ-M is one of the best fuzz pedals available for vintage tone enthusiasts seeking a highly-versatile dirt unit.
